Defiance

“Some creative acts offer resolve, some open up conversation and still others give forth calm visual splendor: the inspiration of beauty.”

I often think of creativity as a political act, as it contrasts with direct action the negative forces we face in life. Some creative acts offer resolve, some open up conversation and still others give forth calm visual splendor: the inspiration of beauty.

“Living inspired is therefore an act of counter, reshape and redirect: of hope.”

In the arena of interior design all the above can apply. In a world constructed for order, living a life of inspiration can be a political act, especially when in direct defiance to the architects of social structure. The built environment is pure soil to this thought, having control over how we live defies the given dogma. Living inspired is therefore an act of counter, reshape and redirect: of hope.

“Though our politics are troubled and the future looks to be challenged, beauty is an elixir, and the creative mind, a great tool for change.”

Life can be beautiful if we let it, this ideal should be celebrated and embraced: put to task on a daily bases. Though our politics are troubled and the future looks to be challenged, beauty is an elixir, and the creative mind, a great tool for change.

'‘I am not naive, I know the task before me and continue my attempts to achieve. I continue to try.'‘

To live a life of significance is a path I attempt to follow, though not easy, worthy of meaning I can call my own. I am not naive, I know the task before me and continue my attempts to achieve. I continue to try.

”nourish and to be nourished, inspire and to be inspired”

The world is our created reflection, knitted like a blanket that surrounds us. To live in this world is to reach out the hand, open the eyes, savor and collect: to nourish and to be nourished, inspire and to be inspired.

“The future holds what we do in the present, and the creative mind, will and hope are the vehicles forward.”

The future is what we vaguely see it to be, it is within our best interest, and the interest of others to accept the facts of what we know now, and counter with action and inspiration. The future holds what we do in the present, and the creative mind, will and hope are the vehicles forward.

“Circumventing the government seems to be the clearest and current path, to lighting the way.”

If the future is to be our demise as a species, as some suggest, perhaps we should leave a beautiful legacy: an inspiring example of what we can do, who we are or perhaps were. Rather than relying on others to be our savior, let us be that savior, or smoothing stone: whatever is to be. Circumventing the government seems to be the clearest and current path, to lighting the way. Beyond this crumbling confine, strides are being made.

“The elements of design are the spring boards for the creative mind, fostering beauty, resolve and comfort.”

We have the opportunity to make a better future, to smooth the edges for the generations to come. This is the epitome of inspiration: what design can in fact do. The elements of design are the spring boards for the creative mind, fostering beauty, resolve and comfort.

“Through the creative mind, life moves with inspired motion: manifesting the future possible and easing the everyday.”

It is my belief that good design can be a catalyst for change, as it enhances and questions how we live. Through the creative mind, life moves with inspired motion: manifesting the future possible and easing the everyday.

Voice

The intention of all that I do is to view life and reflect back possibility: to inspire, resolve or soften, even for a moment. We all have a voice, its knowing that we have one and using it that pulls life forward. This is mine: my words, actions and sincere endeavors.

“There are no guarantees, only actions in the day to day. Hope and determination, desire and will.”

I am inspired by those who create, those who know its inherent value and time sensitive arc. It is the here and now that lights the future: hopefully, someday, maybe. There are no guarantees, only actions in the day to day. Hope and determination, desire and will.

“To live an inspired life through beauty and struggle, is to share one’s truest voice.”

Admittedly I struggle like many with politics and the hurling future, but believe this to be in our own hands, in our words and deeds. It is within life itself that we find resolve, how we live and build forward: pushing and pulling, cause and affect. To live an inspired life through beauty and struggle, is to share one’s truest voice.

Moments

It’s not that time moves too fast, it’s that we let it slip away unnoticed: distracted from the moments that make up life. We are surrounded by inspiration: people, places and things, and it is how we respond that fuels the moment, spins the mind and sparks the hand into action.

“Our physical world is the manifestation of thought, emotion and physical deeds: building and destroying. Lessons learned, lessons repeated.”

To build a life forward is to take notice and to take stock, gathering the stimuli that fuels desire. What the eye sees the mind repeats, adding language to solidify emotion. Our physical world is the manifestation of thought, emotion and physical deeds: building and destroying. Lessons learned, lessons repeated.

“Beauty then, is genetic code: hard wired for our survival and creative inspiration.”

Building a beautiful life is not a romantic notion, but an inherent instinctual need for pleasure. This is a means of survival, the eye is the window to the self and the centuries of sensations we’ve acquired. Beauty then, is genetic code: hard wired for our survival and creative inspiration.

Moments come as fleeting inspirations, it’s how we notice them that builds our lives: our foundations of hope we call the future. Each moment documents our storied lives, stitching scenes from which to create. This builds momentum, our character, as we savor into memory: champions of the oncoming tomorrow.
